BUST Craftacular Los Angeles

Poster, Art, Event

Last Saturday, Dave and I headed out the Echo & Echoplex for BUST magazine's Holiday Craftacular. Despite the rain, the event was quite bustling with shoppers. The Echoplex was dim as it normally would be for a music show with the exception of a few vendors' lamps and the stage lights. Even so, I managed to find some goods and made notes of things I'd like to get.

When we got there, I realized that we had left our memory card for the camera at home. Grrr. So please excuse these dark and grainy photos we took using Dave's phone.

We met Pretty Little Thieves the first time at the Patchwork Craft Show in Long Beach a few weeks ago. I really like Nancy's quirky drawings of girls. So, it was nice to chat with her for a bit at BUST. Here is a signage she posted on a pillar close to her table. I bought a version of it printed on a black paper in silver ink.

Seattle Show Posters has too many prints I'd like to take home. Both Dave and I were eying their No Love Lost poster. Seen on this photo on the far left.

I bought four of Jon Carling's drawings printed on sticker papers. His drawing style reminds me of Edward Gorey.

Check out Joei Studio for pretty paper goods. She also does custom letterpress design for wedding invites, baby showers, and other events.

I'm a fan of Susie Ghahremani's artwork. I bought an animal postcard set from her Boygirlparty Etsy store many moons ago. It was so cool to see her new designs on different items.

I know some of my friends would love Cara Lyndon's vintage jewelry line but I'm particularly loving her logo and packaging that doubles as her business card.

These were just some of the 50 vendors that were at BUST Craftacular. You can view more vendors and links to their websites right here.
